Over the last couple of years, our corporate parent, SPX Corporation, has taken a number of steps to further elevate the visibility of the global SPX brand. As a result, Waukesha Electric Systems, Inc. has changed its name to SPX Transformer Solutions, Inc. This change will build on the growing strength of our parent company, SPX Corporation, as well as acknowledge SPX’s substantial investment in Waukesha’s growth.
This name change will not affect how we go to market with our products, as the Waukesha® brand remains an integral part of our business. Although our company name has changed, our products and services, and the people supporting these offerings, have not. The Waukesha Experience® is still core to meeting our commitments to our customers, suppliers, employees, shareholders, and communities. SPX Transformer Solutions, Inc. is the same corporation originally founded in 1970. Please circulate this information as necessary within your organization so that your records reflect this name change. All other information concerning the company remains the same, including the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).
Please update your accounting and contract management database records to reflect this change in the name.
We look forward to continuing our relationship with you as we venture further down the rebranding road and expand our capabilities in the large power market with production start-up in our expanded Wisconsin facility. On behalf of all of us at SPX, thank you for your business.
